Anyone else think that Shirahoshi might be the new One Piece member? Since Black Beard's crew has a giant as well, so it could fit nicely in fights... Plus, her ability seems to be really powerful if she could control it. And the prophecy indicates that there'll be a man (Luffy) who can guide her skill. Luffy might also get swayed by her wish to see the outside world and take her along, like he did when he helped her escape from the castle.

Also, who actually shot her mother might be some dramatic twist in later chapters. Like by the Revolutionaries!! Because they wanted to stop the Tenryuubito from their evil plans or something.

I loved this chapter but i dont think shell join Luffy, shes abit to huge 😮 and somehow i believe she will continue her mothers work and try to make coexisting with humans and mermen/mermaid possible she may even use her power to make the seas safer for people getting acceptance from the humans, going with the Revolutionaries is abit to far fetched i believe it has something to do with Hodi Jones or at the very least a merman/maid as a human would be quite noticeable there Vander had no motive so it leaves with Hodi and/or someone who was against coexisting such as former slaves

I think it was quite obvious that Vander Decken was the shooter. Look back at page 17 last frame. Isn't that a rifle on his back?

Maybe. She has the sad backstory and her ability makes her pretty damn powerful, but given how much time the Strawhats spend on land makes it seem rather improbable (though there is the possibility that she ages with this Urashima's Casket and her legs split, like Kokoro). Though in all seriousness, how she'd get around the Sunny is beyond me. Her brothers are viable options, though. I'm hoping that Surume would be the next member, but that's just me.

True, but the guards (including Hodi) were also armed with pistols on the same page. I think the shooter is probably human, considering how much fishman island still hates them.

sigh...we all knew what would happen in this chapter, but I still had teary eyes.

I wish the princess would be part of the strawhat crew, but yeah damn too big, maybe she can transform her legs into human form and reduce her size by 99% haha.

Hmm.. If she did join them and started liking Luffy.. Then he would have both the Pirate Empress and the Merman Princess to not care about.

I don't think she will join them with her powers.. I know she can be insanely strong with them.. But come on.. She is the Aquaman of the One Piece universe.
