Who else here think that Yachiru is going to replace Kenpachi as the captain of the 11th Division now that Kenpachi is down? Atfer all, it has been hinted many times throughout the series that she is quite powerful.

Well, dunno about "replace", but by her station she would have to assume his duties.... Scary though by itself considering the person in question, but I'm very much eager to actually see her in action.

By definition, all Vice-captains have their rank because they actually deserve it, so she will be a powerhouse, no doubt about it. There is always a possibility that Kubo has just forgotten about her, but I hope we will see her take the stage and kick ass at some point.

Whatever she will do however, it will have to a a curb-stomp, really. Not because she must be über-powerful, but because she is still very much a child and going by the ... mm,"cruelty index" of Bleach, I think Infant immortality -trope is likely to be active.

Plus again, I'm sure Kubo will conveniently forget about it, but they would only need Orihime and some time to get anyone with anything even resembling an intact body up and running. I mean, she got Menoly back up to her feet after she was pretty much disintegrated by Grimmjows Cero.
