over the years, i have definitely developed a specific taste in what i like in yaoi.
yes, i'm a wee bit picky but i'm also open to reading anything (as long as the story is interesting).

i really want something with unusual characters, strong storylines, emotional rollercoasters, something more realistic, or unusual, unique art.
so, when i mean "unusua yaoil", i mean like "not-your-average-fluffy-yaoi-with-a-cutesy-uke-and-manly-seme".
to me, when the uke is girly or weak it's like reading het but with a flat chested chick...
i mean, i've read tons of cliche stories like that and honestly, i'm bored. ha /:

i want really unexpected pairings
like, the one you really think is the seme is actually the uke..
i like it when the uke is actually the more boyish/manly, possibly older, stronger, buffer, and gruffer one and the seme can be the shy, younger, pretty boy... or the seme could be just as manly too. (;
for example: suzuki tsuta's "your story i have known".
which was soooo HOT. and the story was also really well developed.
another example: nekota yonezu's "elektel delusion" nosebleeds

[i also have this thing with super short haired, cool, boyish, rowdy ukes and longer haired semes haha]
