Lol, all this just to say that's IMPOSSIBLE for the manga to develop like you mentioned: if not for intelligence/jutsu lacking, because Naruto currently is a darned -->Genin<--, and its a teensy weensy problem to elect a village head from the lowest ranking newb around.

It actually would be a pretty stupid thing to elect Naruto but looking from Ebisu's flashbacks it looks like he has gained some liking from people in the village but yeah they probably wouldn't vote for him. Plus Tsunade is a miserable old bitch anyway and it would probably be better off if she died because everyone she talks about is dead.

And on the subject of Shikamaru for Hokage, I can see him turning that down due to his very laid back lazy sort of persona, but people would listen to him. But als seen as he is still quite young there could be some pretty pissed ninjas who thought they wee more experienced for the job.

For sure on the Tsunade and Jiraiya part. But anyone think Shino and co. possibly winning against Konan will cause Pain/Pein some problem, I mean bother him someway 😕

Well sure she could retire like the 3rd when Minato became hokage, but Naruto is just too dumb to become Hokage. He has to be like the very last resort in order for Konoha to make him Hokage... I can see Shikamaru in the position... but Naruto... I don't know.

Also Naruto seems like the type to be out doing missions not paperwork.
I don't think he would be able to sit in one place for too long, and the manga (which arguably isn't even about him) would be sort of boring if he's doing paperwork on every page/frame...

it'd be lame if she did die, for one it's way to soon from the 3rd's death. it hasn't even been more than 3 years since then. if Konoha loses another one like this, then it's spells how low the village has sunk. including on how Kakashi's being handled right now that's one character dying to many.....

I can agree that it might be too early for her to die but I don't think she will be the one to finish the fight, Naruto is probably going to come back with his new super attack using 20 Kage Bunshins and do some damage.

So it seems Kakashi really is dead coz Tsunsade kept silent when asked about kakashi by Choji and if Tsunade dies its gonna be caos for Konoha as its still too early for Naruto to become Hokage and since, Kakashi, the person Jirayia said was a given for the net Hokage is also dead, Danzu's way would be clear for taking over Konoha. Its so sad Kakashi would've made a great Hokage and everyone knew it including the threee great ninjas i.e Orochimaru, Jirayia and Tsunade. Where is Yamato when you need him and come to think of it..where is Sai

Yeah regarding the 20 clones per time that Naruto will be able to maintain and perform techniques with, lets all remember the (in)famous Kage Bunshin technique: a HIDDEN technique (prohibited perhaps? Or simply access-restricted), understood and mastered in 1-2 days or such by a 9-10(?) little retard (no offense, he was the last of the class, kinda like the serious-attention-span--problem kid) ninja.
Oh woe on that day, that marked forever this already going-into-damnation series...

omigod xD can't believe it.... theyre actually adding ONE MORE CLONE so it's now 3-4? considering that Naruto can do normal Rasengan on his own - 3... or does he? I have a little idea: after all the mastering Naruto and his 3 KB could group henge into... naruto with two tops growing out of it's sides (xD) for wind Ras. and one kage bunshin on his shoulder henge'd to something smaller, I mean to keep it comfortable and still gather nature energy...thingie...

Also about Kakashi... I guess either he dies(70%), has a huge injury(10%) or Tsunade dies(20%) to make the arc feel like it HAPPENED (I mean, try to imagine Oro's attack without 3rd dieing...wouldn't that feel as Bleach?)

Oh and 'bout the Leafs clans vs. Peins I guess they'll all win and Tsunade get her ass handed to her but somehow still would sustain an injury on Pein or wmthn like that

or they can make Tsunade die from Pain attack (but eventually defeating him) and shift the command to the counterpart ROOT leader, all for a new, VERY angsty arc (the evil leader ecc)
