I think there is a bug with My List. Some of my titles appears to have a new release, as indicated beside it, but when I checked it there isn't.

Here are the titles:

Junjou Romantica c.9 (although the it is on v.13 c.2)
Secret Diplomacy c.6 (although the chapter is still on c.5)

That's because the scanlators reset the their chapters with ever volume that they do.
In other words, the computer will recognize the highest number that was released, which causes the red number to be the largest chapter number released. The only way to permanently fix this is to change how the chapters themselves are released so that those series are updated like every other one.
