I just don't get this manga anymore
It's going downhill atm and still the mangaka killed a popular character?
And when will Allen fully awaken as a NOAH?

I honestly don't believe Kanda died. And people say it's gotten so confusing, but I just think that's because people aren't looking at the detail. Yeah, I have to read it a few times to get the point, but I do that with a lot of monthly manga.
And the manga itself isn't going 'downhill' it's just its popularity. Or course there are going to be some rough edges in transitioning from weekly to monthly, but give it some time. 😐 You can't read monthly mangas like a weekly manga usually. Analyze and pay attention to detail! 8D

And it seems Allen is having a tad trouble keeping that Noah thing under control. Now he even has a spot on his stomach and all... can't wait for the next one!

I'm just going to come out and ask: Can someone please explain what's been going on?

I'm not trying to be mean and sarcastic. I've been following the series for a long time now, and I'm not a complete idiot, but I'm really, really lost. What's all the stuff about Alma's soul being the soul of the woman Kanda loved? When was Kanda in love? Or is Kanda a dead exorcist who's been reincarnated in an artificial body, and he still has his past-life memories of a lady he liked - who got reborn as Alma? I kind of thought that was part of what was going on, but I'm sort of guessing. Did Kanda always remember a past life, or is this something recent? If it's recent, when did the remembering happen?

Also - didn't Alan turn into a Noah? How did he get back to normal? Where did he send Alma and Kanda? Are they dead? Is Alma still an akuma? Why did the Noah and the Earl just mess around with Alma instead of attacking everyone directly? It seems like they have all the exorcists at their mercy, but they went on this long, long, long flashback sequence with Kanda's childhood friend instead of attacking directly. And what the heck is Bak doing?

If anyone can sort me out, I'd be so very grateful. 😕

Kanda and Alma are some kind of creation that takes dead exorcist and makes new ones is what I understand. Using something I would say is highly similar or actually somewhat is Akuma like.

Whoever Kanda's 'past self' was was in love with whoever that woman is. And we just found out that woman was reborn as Alma.

At first, I don't believe he had any memories, just an outline/image of this woman in a field and I think something of a promise they might have had. I think he remembered EVERYTHING in the most revent chapter though. 🙂 I think before it might have been annoying bits a pieces.

And Allen... I think he is having some king of Noah transformation going on. Though it seems not completely since his skin is going off and on and there are no traces of the stigmata usually across a Noah's forehead.

He said he sent them to where their first mission was... so that's where they went. XD I don't have all the chapters down loaded or the patience to go back and find where I think that was their first mission, but well... that's where they went. I don't think that's a really big mystery...

And I believe they did all this to really get Allen out of the Order. I mean... I'm sure there is a round about reason, but it seems they truly planned for Allen to be against Kanda and him end up the way he was in this.. .strange half noahish thing.

I feel it's best not to try and figure out everything that's happening at once and rereading of the last few is required to get the whole picture that I think you're looking for. But... this is what I essentially think we should be paying attention to currently...

I think their first mission is at the city where there is a doll with the innocent heart. I read it all once so I remember a little. At that place there is a maze I think it probably there 😀
