My cat does that and only to me too. I guess he considers me as his playmate, freak'n hurts though >.< and I have a bunch of scratches around my ankle.

One of my kitties was diabetic & had to have insulin shots twice per day, and even with those tiny sharp needles, getting through her skin was difficult.

Cats can be diabetic too? Didn't know that! I want to get another kitty! My mom would kill my though >.< She hates cats and one is enough.

Yeah, they can. The good thing is, they usually tolerate it fairly well & don't have as many problems as humans do (maybe because they only eat cat food?? dunno...). She wasn't overweight at all, so the vet didn't have a clue what caused it. My guess is that whatever caused her birth defects (she had no back feet - one back leg ended just above the "knee" joint, the other just below the "knee" joint) somehow messed up her system in other ways too. She was such a sweetie, I miss her. 😢

Whoa, you have your share of special-needs cats. That's nice, it's so sad when they just euthanize pets for some stupid reason.

After a while when we wanted another kitty, I specifically looked for one that was special-needs so it wouldn't be able to beat up on Brammie. That's how we got O.C., who is declawed on the front & was hit by a car (before being taken to the shelter) so her back legs don't quite work right - she's also almost totally deaf, but we didn't realize that until she'd been with us for a while.

Then when we wanted another kitty, again we looked for a special-needs one so it wouldn't beat up on Brammie, but someone forgot to tell Tex that he's supposed to be handicapped! 🤣 He's got as much attitude as the rest of the cats put together, and causes as much trouble as all the rest too. 😀

I have always had a lot of pets but at the moment I have 2 dogs tigger and pooh (I did NOT name them) they are lewd, lesbian dogs. I have a cute little hampster Cosmo. I also have a bitchy chinchilla Nanime and a spazzy one named Gizmo. I also have a crap load of salt water fish, if you have seen finding nemo you can imagine what my fish tanks look like lol.

I have two cats, Yuri and Kira. They're both from the same litter and are black. Yuri is completely black and Kira just has a small patch of white at his throat. 😀 Kitty, kitty, kitties!

The wolf tends to get into fights with other male dogs but he hasn't attacked a female dog yet. Also, we keep him away from children...
