I had left thumb on top but Im not really into math and science to heavily. I like generalities in math/sciences and details abundant in arts/language 🤢

My right thumb is on top, and I'd like to point out that art is not limited to how well you draw. It can be any number of things.

Left, if I try it the other way it feels wrong.
try crossing your arms the other way...it feels wrong too.
the arm crossing is genetical, apparently, because its affected by your parents or something...*shrugg

Okay, now I have to know. Do we cross our legs a specific way, and if so, does that have a meaning?

Took me a while to do it. For some reason it was almost impossible to figure out how to cross my arms the other way. Like a puzzle. haha
Does it matter if you're left or right handed? I heard that people who are left handed are better artist.

Yeah, I know but I was just giving an example.
By crossing your legs do you mean when they're straight out in front of you and you cross them near your knees? or do you mean when you're sitting down and tucking them in then crossing them?
Arms don't feel funny either way.
Straight: doesn't feel funny either
Folded: feels a tad bit funny when I cross them my not normal way
E-chan52, that's just a rumor.

🤣 I tried it too, and yes, took a couple of tries before I did it the opposite of what I'm used to doing.
funny thing is...i had never tried to cross my arms the other way until someone told me about it...just never occured to me to try that...XD took that for granted

First: I'll warn you guys... Kaioh doesn't seem to like threads with repeat titles, so you better no go around doing that all the time.
Ah, so that's why there was a "2" since there must've been a "Left or Right" thread version 1... 😉 I guess Kaioh can edit or ask a higher administrator to edit (Manick seems okay with it though since he replied just like a regular though...).

Second: Why would I ever cross my hands in that fashion? Maybe Christians do so to pray or something, but I never remember crossing my hands, except for playing volley-ball. But for volley ball you fold your hands differently and you don't put either of the thumbs on the other.
(Yes you guessed I'm not Christian, so what?)Third: Any theories on that are most likely to be a load of bull****.
Fourth: Now that I tried it, I feel more comfortable with my right thumb up... and I'm NOT an arts person.
Stealth, were you in a rush (and even annoyed...) when you replying since there is a list of things to shoot down this thread and yet you still participate anyhow? 🤣
I don't know if you were including the biology theory I mentioned in that pile of untruth, but seeing as I can't remember just how much it was relied on to "diagnose" something, I doubt it was relied on to determine if a person lived or died (unless some culture freaked out about people with thumbs that didn't have the left or the right thumb on top, but that's not biology).
And also the scheming people tend to hold their hands pretty similar to this way, right? Although they don't let their hands interlock because maybe it doesn't look very camera or is hard to draw. I recall Mr. Burns does on the Simpsons whenever he says, "Ex-cel-lent!"

Right thumb, but I only put them like this when beating
somebody. I am a pagan. 🙂

Wtf is with these rumours? 🤣
Well, I am talented in that field, but does
the arm matter? o.o

You need two hands together to beat somebody? 🤣 But on another note, that really sounds mean. 🙁 😳
But also to add to Stealth's question of why a person would have his or her hands positioned like that, there could be holding something like a baseball bat (not for a abusing, hopefully...). But maybe it would be one fist over the other. But it doesn't seem to matter which fist I prefer to have on top really. The arm crossing doesn't seem as "wrong" as repositioning my thumbs so that it's in the non-usual position. Okay, I tried it again and the thumb position only seems a bit more "wrong" maybe than the arms-crossed position. 😛
