While we all await our inevitable replacement by AI and subsequent extermination by machine-made horrors beyond our comprehension, perhaps there are people looking to waste the intervening time rendering Japanese comic books into English...

Originally founded to scanlate the works of Kumeta Kōji, we've died several times but like the proverbial cat, we keep coming back. We all have full-time jobs and/or post-graduate job-like activities, so we're pretty laid back and this is mostly a weekend thing, so casuals are welcome.

RECRUITING
We're looking for CLEANERS, TYPESETTERS, and preferably people who can do both; as well as anyone interested in helping out as a PROOFREADER. Experience preferred, but I've trained a lot of people and am willing to teach the ways of the scanlator to newbs.

Anyone doing graphic work MUST BE ABLE TO WORK WITH PHOTOSHOP FILES. That means you have PS or an equivalent that can read and write native PS text layers. GIMP is hard fail here, don't but ackshually me, I've been doing this for centuries and I've tried to use that hot mess every time a new version comes out and come to the same amazed conclusion that PS is still better than the alternatives for scanlation work.
