Is there no hints of shounen-ai here? Is it purely shoujo?

Judging by the magazine it's published in, yes it really is a shoujo. I don't know if there are hints of shounen-ai or not, since I haven't read it. But something can be shoujo and have shounen-ai; in fact I think it's pretty common.
