Picked a lock.

I set out to pick the lock on my room door. I actually had it picked in about 20 seconds on my first try, but since its a deadbolt, it required a stupid amount of torque to pull the bolt back, so I thought I didn't have it. 70 minutes and dozens of tries later I felt like an idiot.

Edit:
Today (also), for the first time in my life, I disassembled and fixed a Deadbolt lock.

Ends up that if you accidentally pick a lock that's already unlocked, the tumblers get caught, blocking the key from being inserted, and the cylinder locks up.

Told her that her college level course was the equivalent to my 6th grade keyboarding class when she failed me on the mid term for completely answering a question in two sentences.
