Okay, I've thought about it a bit more. While I might possibly tell I guy that I like him, I might be attracted to him, that would be more of just being honest that trying to get him to date me, because honestly I'd like to know that there was something between us that could last. I'd like to think I'm in love with that person before I dared confess anything. But by the time I reach that point, I'd probably be scared and doubting his feelings for me and never do it - just wait for him to say something and maybe try to flirt or something to see how he'd react.

You should at least try inviting this hypothetical love interest on those dates that no one is really sure if it's a date or not, but it IS just the two of you.
