I heard that Amazon in Europe will stop purchasing books from American companies: is it true? How will I be able to buy the mangas, the books and the comics that are only in English now?

I heard this from Seven Seas on Twitter, too, in reference to issues with their danmei books. I think it's supposedly related to the EU legislation about deforestation and not importing products that may contribute to it unless the business verifies that their supply chain is "clean". Some people don't believe it but I don't think SS would lie about it.
In any case, I think Europeans will just have to pay extra shipping costs by buying from North American retailers that offer international shipping to their countries or use proxy shipping services. RightstufAnime ships internationally, for example. I mean, it may be more expensive but Amazon in the US ships everywhere. As an aside, I have bought manga from Amazon JP many times, and I know I'm paying a little more than actual Japanese book price because of shipping (unless you buy a lot than it's really not that bad) but I always get my orders. Never have had a problem. So I'm sure ordering directly from Amazon US will work out fine.
I know it sucks, of course, but there's a way around it... it just might cost a little bit more.
