[quote=Mamsmilk][quote=loosecannon504]All tsunderes should burn in hell. I don't care if you hide your true feelings because of retarded reasons, or if you can get away with being a bitch just because you're pretty. I wouldn't put up with their shit if I was in a manga, or if I knew any in real life.

Damn right.
I'd hammer drill their teeth and fasten
their hands together with screws for being
bitches.

Because we all know that violence is the way to solve it! Damn right! >:-(

At least it was a flawless victory. 😛
That is what matters.

Alas, it has got nothing to do with this thread.

Definitely they exist! They're described as people who are 'cold on the outside, soft on the inside'. You can't honestly say you don't know anyone who acts cold to people they're not too friendly with, but acts fine with their friends? The other definition is 'cold in the beginning, soft near the end' which could be taken the same way. When they first meet someone, they're rather cold, then they warm up to them. Or not. But that would depend on the person...

But anyways, manga and anime naturally over exaggerate it. Over exaggeration is key to comedy, and tsundere are certainly an archetype for comedic purposes...

Not the ones as extreme in anime/manga, but to a lesser intensity yes.

They definitely exists IRL, had a friend that fits perfectly in that description. Strikingly similar to Taiga in Toradora. One minute she were banging her fist into the wall for losing a game and the next she made me a meatball sandwich and kissed me on the cheek. 😕

They can be really scary Oo

I'm kind of like that to admit. :x
But I don't act really cold just..shyly?
It's easier to act who you are in front of your friends instead of people you don't know.

When you think about it, that would make a lot of sense. Japanese manga with Japanese personality types.

Gee...shows how understanding you are o_o
I don't know which manga Tsundere you're talking about, but all the ones I know are pretty tolerable.

Am I a tsundere then? O.o

I'm very cold and quiet if I don't know you, but once I start knowing you I warm up (If I like you that is 😛 ). But that's mostly because I'm a very shy person. But tsunderes in anime/manga are really bitchy and insult people (usually the one they like). I'm not like that at all (I don't even talk xD) and I don't know anyone like that.

In manga some tsunderes make you go "awww... <3" and some make you wish they were real just so you can beat them up (I dunno who could put up with their crap). If I met someone like that in real life I think I would hate them 😃

I don't know which manga Tsundere you're talking about, but all the ones I know are pretty tolerable.

The type of tsunderes I'm talking about are the ones that degrade their love interest when most of the time the love interest didn't even do anything to deserve that degradation. Or the ones who act cold towards people and act like they're inferior to them or like they don't exist at all. Even the ones who beat the hell out of people without even listening to that person's side of the story, or how they hit them when they blurt out something they didn't want that person to know. And then if they do act sweet, they still have to degrade the person they like by saying something like "You may be an idiot, and a loser, and a waste of space, but I like that kind of person!", instead of just saying that they like them without all the insults.

You may be able stand their bitchiness, but I'd be damned if I let ANYONE (Let alone a woman who I have an interest in) treat me like shit and let them walk all over me like a doormat. If I meet someone that's like those tsunderes, then I'm turning the other way, no matter what. I don't need to be understanding, because if they act like that towards me (A person who they JUST met and whom they know nothing about), then I'm leaving regardless of what issues they have because they have no right to act that way towards someone they've just met, and I don't need to be around people who act like that from the get-go.

They exist for sure...

They'd be kind of annoying / hard to deal with in real life though >_> I mean in manga and anime it's cute most the time because you get those little thought bubbles that show what they think and those 'perfect opportunities' where you see how they're nice and so on.

But in real life, I don't see those thought bubbles and I don't know what they'd be thinking and I wouldn't get those perfect opportunities. (ex. Walking in on them doing something kind) And to be honest, I'd be pisssssseddd offf if i knew them!

Ps. Where are the guy tsundere examples? XD
