two scanlators decide to do the same series and one will do the first chapter and the second scanlator will ALSO do the first chapter i mean WTF?!

You realize that sometimes both groups will have started working on the first chapter at around the same time. One group releases first, but since the other group already has some work done, might as well go all the way with the first chapter.
