The fight was decent, but the ending does have me quite intruiged. Im curious as to how itl play out (Illusion, spirit, real body?)

I don't care if it's a hallucination or the thing that happened with Naruto and his dad because I'm happy to see his face again 🤣 I wonder why he's back...

It kinda seems that Danzou has the same concept as Kakuzu with his powers with him having extra lives and everything, just replace hearts with eyes.

And I think that Itachi might be the result of Sasuke's genjutsu, like when Itachi morphed into birds and caught Naruto into a genjutsu.

you can only assume that danzo got those eyes after itachi( and madara) killed off the uchiha maybe itachi put in a fail safe in so that if danzo ever fought sasuke something would happen like he did with madara and the amaterasu when sasuke see's his eyes

Great fight so far; it's really getting going. I'm very intrigued by Danzo's abilities. One eye per pop. Is it some sort of instantaneous healing or some reality altering jutsu? Madara seems more interested in what Sasuke's doing than Danzo despite Danzo's amazing display. Is this battle some sort of ruse just to get Sasuke even more powered up? His Susanoo seems more powerful (and darker) than it was at the meeting of the Kages. I was convinced that Madara and Sasuke were separate after the last several chapters, but now I wonder if there is some connection or even just an alliance. And what's happening at the end? Is Sasuke switching to Genjutsu since physical attacks seem pointless?

Hmmm... the one ability per eye theory is a good one. The series makes it sound like different Uchihas could use their sharingans in different ways (i.e., Itachi's best friend who could influence people), so it's possible Danzou has eyes that let him teleport like Madara, etc.

As for Itachi, this could be another one of Itachi's failsafes. Like the time Sasuke's eyes went crazy after Madara tried to remove his mask, Itachi could've also planted another jutsu in Sasuke which would trigger if he ever encountered Danzou.

You know, NORMALLY I hate the whole "shocked spectators" thing during fight scenes, but for once I actually like how they're using Karin here. Typically, the spectators' only role is to be clueless and look stupid whenever the hero does something amazing, but because Karin has special knowledge about what's going on in the fight (since she's a sensor), her presence (so far) is useful to the reader rather than a distraction.

It's Christmas, so I felt like giving Kishimoto some props. Happy holidays everyone!
