From looking at the raws of volume 10 it looks like the ending is completely unexpected and confusing. Might be able to understand it more if I knew what the hell the text was saying but from just looking at the pictures

Vera commits mass murder to the people in Reunion, Rud suicides, main character attacks Vera and disappears. Vera's sister wakes up... Basically alot of people die...

What happened to this series I was waiting for the big fight to come when this happens

Was this series not popular or something and got axed?

I know right?! I mean wtf... what kind of ending is that? I was fucking expecting something really exciting and awesome like:

Everyone fighting each other. Not everyone but, the match up that was made... Nine Dragons vs. Student Council. Honse intensely fighting against Vera and suddenly losing. Then afterward, Gangryoung against Vera and defeating her. But the ending of the last volume, 10, it just fucking confuses me and pisses me off that Vera just killed everyone in reunion, except the ones that had left. Another thing that pissed me off is Rud's sudden suicide. T~T. I mean wtf, seriously? Everything just ended so fucked up.

I was really enjoying this series but volume 10 just suddenly made me hate this series, sorta.

What Rafaelaboy80 said, was the series really not popular, which caused it to get axed and get this sorta ending? OR was the author just suddenly tired of it and stupidly ended it with the most fucked up ending ever?

Talk about jumping the shark, this went from a top fav manga/manhwa for me to below average just due to the rushed and lame ending. I feel completely cheated.

True that it's the only way to trully end the story since vol 10 ends with so many unresolved issues story wise and an incredible cliffhanger.

p.s.
I understand that scanlators have i life and don't wanna seem ungrateful by telling them to hurry but it's just that i'm eagerly awaiting the translations/ scanlations of the last chapters 😃
Again i hope no one taes this as criticismI'm just stating how eager i am to understanding the text of the raws

I thought the latest release was kind of a prank played by the author.
Serveral important characters killed in 2 pages ? lol.

A few mounth's ago someone told me that there is going to be a Veritas 2. A bit like Rosario Vampire.

But yeah a got a little pissed off with how things went in this final volume.

One of the reasons this manga may have gotten the Axe is because it lacked Romance (Hey it was FAIRLY easy to add a few points here and there and if the relationship with Madoka and Lighting Newb had gotten a little more attention and had been taken to a certain point... well

Her dead would had destroyed the readers beyond repair )

Same with the rest of the chicks... anyway If you take a look at ALL that CHEESE Shoujo the Koreans have and LOVE, you would seem to think that a fairly important paying demographics LOVE romance in their reads... (girls and guys)

But lets see if the end and check out

I remember them saying that too. I'm hoping that's the case cause the story has been losing a lot of focus in the last few chapters imho. Which would explain the questionable ending. I'm just hoping this doesn't end up like Double Arts, Mx0, and some other series end up being unfinished forever. I hate the feeling of an unfinished story, it leaves wishing for closure.

Well for me I'm not looking forward to a Veritas 2 because how is the author going to continue the story with most of the main/semi characters died, if its just going to focus on lighting tiger disciple then it isn't going to be as interesting. Having the other character scheme, not knowing what is next made it somewhat less shounen cliche. Maybe a extra chapter or two to conclude it would be better IMO

The hold point of a Veritas 2 is that the author gets to add new characters to the story! i have seen the raw for the last chapter and it makes you want to know more!

Ending reminded me of Immortal Regis. It has its issues, but the open ending isn't as terrible as people make it out to be.

Have to say that I'm glad the author didn't have the ending like some megaman suggested on this thread. Would have been far too cliched, boring and predictable

Author did say there would be a Part 2 in his credits. Should happen unless they cancel it. I'd like to see the characters after five years have passed.

well, if it follows as the ending of part one suggest, it's gonna be friggin badass
