This question may be hard to explain but I like to ask how do all you guys read your manga, whether it is digitally from the computer or from a real paper book and such. For me, I usually like reading them as a real book, usually in whole series since i don't like the time gap in between releases where i usually forget the material.

If I can get the stuff, then I read in the actual book form, but with a lot of the ongoing stuff, it's on the computer...I would prefer reading it all in one shot, but that's not possible with stuff like Naruto or Suzuka

I don't mind the gap between releases, I think it's more fun that way.

I read them with Windows Pictures and Fax Viewer on the computer. Once in a while, I'll grab something from the library or sit down in a bookstore. My parents won't let me buy any volumes because they're dreadfully expensive for a small piece of plot.

I prefer to read manga as a book, but since a lot of manga I like aren't license or I can't get them, I read them through the computer with Windows Pictures and Fax Viewer. However, I don't like waiting for releases, so I practically only read completed manga.

Books, books. 🙂
They sometimes annoy me when I must
hold them when I read, but reading is a lot easier
since I can see all at once instead of zooming around
every page with CDisplay.

I much prefer actual paper books - we have ~500 manga in this house, some exclusively mine, some we all read, and some primarily belong to the boys. That doesn't stop me from reading 'em on the computer if that's the only way they're available in a language I know how to read. 😀

I just love the way they smell in the bookcase and when I can touch their hard, clean covers. 🙂 Belong to the boys? Some under the bed manga? 🙂

Yesssss...that, and the fact that they're nicely portable, you don't need any special technology to enjoy them, and they're a lot more durable than computer files. Pain in the ass when you're moving to a new house, though.

For me it has to be the physical book, I can put up with reading off a screen if its the only way for me to get something, but buying a physical volume costs only a few pounds, and I generally resell them after reading. Reading off a screen isn't impossible, but I've found that over exteneded periods it becomes uncomfortable.

I subscribe to Ribon, one of those 'phonebook' manga magazines, so it's usually my only manga fix. I'm not too fond of reading scanlations because I don't like sitting at my desk for extended periods of time.
