Do you guys have any idea what the meaning lies in 'DADDY LONG LEGS'?
I just read one manhwa By Don and even though only a single chapter release, love the synopsis. Is it some guardian or protector to the person he like? Or else?
I also found this term at somewhere in the books and still can identify the meaning. Someone know the meaning?

Isn't it a common name of a species of spider? 😕

The term comes from an American novel about an orphan girl who's put through school with the help of an anonymous benefactor. There have been several adaptations in film and anime, and many older shoujo seem to have been inspired by it.

This would have been better as a post in the random question thread here...

Now, as for your question, it's basically already been answered by just following the wiki page oriana3k so generously provided.
Quote from Wikipedia
Jerusha catches a glimpse of the shadow of her benefactor from the back, and knows he is a tall long-legged man. Because of this, she jokingly calls him "Daddy Long-Legs."
