At some point in the beginning the main character is black mailed by a teacher (the mc had left the school to go to the store) to sit with this one kid and watch over the library and the guy he has to sit with is a delinquent and has a crush on the mc but its not known till the POV is switched

I think the mc is known for not showing much emotional I'm not sure about that though
