I'm sure this has been suggested before but I didn't find much when searching the forums and browsing several pages of threads. And I apologize this is a already a feature and I missed it...

I know we can give comment on manga as a review. But I would love to be able to make personal comments on manga. Comments that only I can see.

Manga updates is my source for keeping track of what I'm reading and keeping track of new released of the manga I'm reading.

Considering how much manga I read. It's be useful to me if I could make a private note/ comment on some some of the manga I'm reading.

Such as noting to myself that I've only read the 1st and 3rd chapter. Or jot down a brief summary of what happened so that I can jump in where I left off without having to re-read from the beginning every time there's an update. Or to note to myself which disk I stored the particular manga on so I can find it again without having to re-download. Etc.

That's actually a good idea. I support.

I'd use it a lot. I have many notes to make, doubly so in my wish list.

I'd also be good if you were able to say.. make a note or two able to be seen by other people. So, like.. if you dropped a series, you could note why you dropped it.

Does the walker choose the path, or the path the walker?

This is actually really good for mangas that have been dropped and then picked up by another group. Or ones that are released really slowly =).

How would this work though? ._. Like a little box underneth the picture that you can click to add a note?

=O Is it possible to make it so that when you go to My Lists, and your cursor goes over the title, you can see your note? =OO

Ideally I'd want at the top with the "You are reading this. This item is on your wish list. Remove" Info at the top. Just have one more section Add/Edit Note.
And right under that before the series info you can see your note.

Has this been done already? If not, I'm emphasizing this suggestion again~

I agree, it'd be very handy. And I think that bunnyhugger's suggestion about where to put it would work quite well, especially if it could be crossed with Pmegranate's. You could enter a note on the main page for a series and then see if by passing your cursor over it on a list.

@Dragonfiremule: you could always just put the reason why you dropped a series down as a user comment on that series' page, which would essentially do the same thing, right?

Actually I was just thinking about that kind of thing today when I was going back through mangas that had finally released I was like "oh geez, I don't remember why this is happening!" so then I had to go back a couple chapters and try to remember how all the drama had happened.

I totally second this, I was going to make a thread when I spotted yours. xD

Has this suggestion ever been implemented? If not, i would like to support this suggestion. It would realy increase the functionality of the database.
