Well you know what, Ill say it, my favorite pokemon was Mewtwo...just because he kicked ass. He could learn pretty much every GOOD TM and with his insane special, it was carnage, well about as much carnage as you could get on a gameboy game that was rated E. Plus he looked pretty awesome too.

Mew, Pikachi, and all those other cute Pokémon! xD Also like the rough ones like Arcanine and Skarmory! ;D

forgot about missingno, love that guy, easily the strongest bird type

Oh yes, the bug(not as in insect, but a computer bug) pokemon. Many, many rarecandies were gained on account of missingno.
