Second option for me. But that's usually for series that have been dragged out for longer than necessary and I can't bother to read from beginning to end.
Although I do discuss theories from time to time...

I often read spoilers...
It's kind of an impulsive thing with me.
Also, I find it hard to read a manga without knowing anything about what's going to happen.
I do the same with books sometimes, but I don't spoil major parts for myself (at least not on purpose)
When I read, I just "must" flip and check when and what happens with certain characters...
I must say, I doesn't take from the enjoyment.
On the contrary, I look forward to read those parts.
I try not to, but... I don't always succeed to hold back~~
Anyways, knowing the end of things doesn't usually ruin things to me. Unless someone important dies. Then I just might not want to read it (like with CG, which I spoiled to no return...).
And I like tragedies/sad endings...
Weird me...~
About the poll, I'm not so sure what to choose...
When I spoil, I only flip the pages, or read a couple of lines when it comes to books...
So... Probably the second. (spoiling too much...)

I like knowing them, plus it helps me find out if i should waste my time with that chapter/episode/series.

Hm, it depends. Sometimes I don't want to know, like if it is something that I've been waiting to read or whatever. But usually I'll read them.
I just hate when people spoil it when I've especially expressed I don't want them too. (sister)

I think it's interesting to see how many people read spoilers and how many don't. Already can't wait for the results of this poll. xDD
I voted for the first option (I like knowing the ending/events ahead of time), because that's what I mostly do. I go looking for spoilers on purpose. I have some exceptions, namely things just THAT good that I want to live the shock 100%, or something. xD But those are very rare, so that option was the most accurate for me.
As for theories, I dislike that. I usually avoid extended discussions in the fandom for that very same reason. I think it's really pointless to speculate 1000 kilometers away from canon, the way it usually happens in those threads. Not to mention that most of the theories people come up with look ridiculous to me. >.>
And that was it for me. xD

Well, sometimes I do when I can't control the urge.
But what mainly happens is, if i'm getting a bit confused with the plot, I search a bit about it, and end up reading something that I didn't want to see.
I did that with Death Note recently
I'm not too fussed when I see them though. I'm sorta used to it
Also if the scans are comming in slow. Im like...ok no. I want to know what happens; and I research it XD

Second option.
Even if I spoil myself it would be interesting to read anyway. I remember I was at the 3ep of Death Note and my friend told me everything (exept the ending though); no harm at all.
But when I was at the beginning of Lord of the flies I went to wiki and there was a HUGE spoiler about Simon. No good.

I only spoil myself when I can't resist. Like for Code Geass... I just had to know more. XD It was only once tho. .__.
But, I usually resist my temptations because I like the shock of something happen naturally and with a lot of impact. =3
I don't like spoilers in fact. So I try to avoid them. <3
