Official translations' manga to webtoon format and lack of extra chapters

I want to start off by saying that I'm not trying to be ungrateful. I'm glad that we can read interesting works and also support the authors thanks to official translations.
I wrote this here only because I have some minor unfortunate thoughts regarding official translations and I just want to let it out somewhere.
That being said, when it comes to official manga translations, there are 2 things that I found a little bit unfortunate.
1. The change from manga to webtoon format.
First of, I know not ALL official translations are translated in a webtoon format. And I know it's not a feature limited to translated mangas because they usually also sell the webtoon format in Japanese as well. I also know this format is convenient for those who want to read them by easily scrolling on their phones without having to zoom-in on small parts.
But, I personally think that the webtoon version looks weird because the manga itself is not originally drawn in that format. So there would parts where the drawings are cut awkwardly and the quality of the lines and colors are not consistent because there are parts that are originally small but are magnified to fit the webtoon format. I don't find this awkwardness in comics that are originally drawn as webtoons, like many manhwas and manhuas.
2. The lack of extra chapters from tankoubon/volume version.
Mangas are usually released per chapter first, either in magazines or just individual chapters online, and once the main story ended, they compile them in a tankoubon and add extra chapters, like extra little stories and/or authors' afterwords, specially drawn/written for the tankoubon (if you look at the Japanese samples for the tankoubon versions in Japanese online bookstores, on the table of contents, you can always check whether they added extra chapters or not). I'm kinda sad that most, if not all official translations don't include these extras.
Again, not trying to be ungrateful here. Just wanted to let these small unfortunate opinion out and maybe see if there's anyone who share the same thoughts.
