I'm not sure if it exist yet, but I'm looking for a series that involves magic or psychic powers: I looking for this sort of plot: When a psychic/wizard agent was discovered by a civilian during an important mission, he/she forced to use his/hers powers to erase the civilian's memories. Little did the agent realized that his/her powers did not erase the civilian's memories, it erased his/her cold instead! With an important witness still in the city, the agent must find and erase that civilian's memories before its too late.

A student caught a really bad cold that lasted until midterms exams, and was forced to take them despite being sick. When he/she discovered something that he/she shouldn't have seen, he/she woke up in the school infirmary discovering that his/her cold is gone...like magic; but he/she still remembers what he/she has seen. Not knowing whether the person who did this to him/her will come after him/her again, the student got wise as he/she develops a plan while he/she prepares for the next exams...

Does this sort of plot exist yet, or i might as well giving out a very original story plot?

Do you know the irony of this story I want to look for? Just so happens that I caught a cold yesterday(by my dad) at the time I thought this up.

well, to me your first plot sounds an awful lot like the series. Except for the last part of trying to keep erasing his/her memories, Mahou Sensei Negima!
