How Come Nobody Ever Dies In This Show?

So far I've seen the first three seasons and noticed that not one character dies in this show (Central 46 doesn't count as characters), they just get really cut up and almost die. Seriously, every fight is practically the same, the character who you are suppose to rooting for gets badly injured and then pulls out some technique out of thing air, gains the upper hand and wins.

I thought there was some light at the end of the tunnel when Renji fought Byakuya, but he survived too. And when Momo got stabbed by Aizen I thought this was a for sure death since she lied there bleeding for like an hour before anyone showed up... BUT NO! Some how she miraculously survived too.

Hell, not even the bad guys die in this show. They spend 2 seasons convincing us that Byakuya is the cold-hearted evil man and the writer doesn't even have the balls to kill him, everyone just makes nice. The way things are going with this anime, I wouldn't be surprised if the show ended with it being revealed that Aizen's treason was all a misunderstanding, then he, Gin, and Tousen are all welcomed back to the Soul Society with nothing but a slap on the wrist, everyone forgives and forgets, and they all sit around the campfire eating smores.

Now look, I'm not one of those have to have blood, gore, tits, death and destruction for me to be happy with an anime (I hated Elfen Lied), but this show has less balls than... a woman... The show has a good story and all, I loved how the plot was tightly weaved for the most part between the second and third seasons, but if you're going to have a show whose main element is huge ass sword battles, then you're gonna have to make a few sacrifices and kill off some characters. It's not like your audience consists of 6 and 7 years olds who are gonna be traumatized to see the death of a character (I know this because if it was, there wouldn't be 25 gallons of blood for each fight). It's not like you're played on PBS at 9:00 in the morning and you're suppose to show kids that problems can be solved by talking them out. No, people watch this show to see guys with cool haircuts swing badass swords around.

It's like the guy who writes this has a way too personal relationship with the characters and refuses to let them go, if you expect to achieve any kind of emotional depth in a story like this then you have to show some balls. As soon as everyone figures out that Bleach is a safe wonderland where nothing really bad can happen, then all the emotional attachments that your audience has for it's characters is going to fade away. People feeling attachment to a fictional character stems from the possibility of losing them. And you can't just expect them to keep falling for the old: 'Oh no! He's dead! Phew, he's okay, that member of Division 4 found him, that was a close one...', sooner or later they're gonna realize that the writers are never gonna have the balls to go through with killing a character.

Of course I could be wrong, this show does have an awfully large fanbase. Maybe the safeness of knowing that everything's gonna be alright is what keeps people coming back.

You're not alone on this. Hence this thread.
