I guess it's maybe because I stay clear of drama - period.. so I've never really noticed people my age with it.. but I also have more friends that are older than me, then I do around the same age as me.. But, I can definitely understand that.

You know it all depends on personality. People can act far more immature than their age, I know I can with my buddies at times, and there are people that act more mature than their years. The people I date have to at least know when and where to drop the childish act. I could never date a valley girl, I'd go bald before the end of five minutes of conversation. 🤢

hey i actually met some ppl half a year younger than me that felt 10 years older, and ppl 3 years older that felt my age. its a minority, but maturity does depends on the person, and the ppl he/she hangs out with at the time.
for example - me. i have some friends that around them i really like to be spoiled, so SOMETIMES i act a bit more childish just to hear the "omg so cute!!" squeels and hugs from them (men...).
on the same note, if were talking about something serious, or im not in the mood to be spoiled, or any other reason- i act normal, and they treat me as a person their age.
i had a 27 yearold netfriend who really acted like im his age cuz i didnt give the "spoil me" vibes, and talked seriously.

I definitely agree.. it has to do a lot with their mentality and I have to say life experiences too.. at least, for me life experiences had a factor in my how mature I am.. I lost both my parents at age 7.. so from a really young age, I was really independent so I was extremely mature for my age.. and I think that's what kinda leads to me still having a little of an immature side now.. because I never really ever got the chance to act like a total idiot 🤣

And you're not the only one.. anyone would go bald dating a "valley girl".. 'Like, oh my gawd!' 🤣 I actually had a girl like that in one of my classes last quarter.. I pictured shoving a sock in her mouth at least a dozen times ever few minutes.. everything that came out of her mouth was stupid..

I prefer guys who are older than me. My max limit is 5 years old, but if he is a little older yet acts and looks within that 5 year limit, then I'm okay. My boyfriend is about 5 years older than me.

I like older guys because they are (supposedly) more mature. I have friends who date guys who are a little younger than them, but their relationships never work out. 18 to early-20 year olds don't seem to take relationships very seriously, which is one of the reasons I like guys who are a little older. (Of course, that is a generalization; I do know mature younger guys). It seems like a lot of girls go for older guys, while guys go for younger girls.

I'm a man and I picked older.. 🙂 Do I have to keep repeating myself..?(rhetorical) 😛

By the way, my cousin was dating a 24 year old girl, and they broke up because she wanted some space... now she looks at he's orkut for mensages from he's friend (girls) and confrontates about it, like when he's friend fell from the motocycle and she asked about it and he sayd "now I will have to take care of her" and she got mad. She also , when he does not enters msn for some reason she will call him (home and cellphone) to ask why he is avoyding her.
That does not sounds mature to me... I know that not every 24 year old girl is like that, but it is wrong for them to say that man are since age and windom does not walks together. I defend myself saying that I might be childish in the way I speak and act, but I can be serious in what say and do.

bah. a boom. that thing that holds the mic when someons filming? so that IDIOT tried to tie the wire with the boom to my half-pony-tail. he worked on it for a long-long time... while we were still in front of the teacher that i was interviewing. 😐
