😃 I am a female and I prefer younger by just a few years. In real life though, I'm married to an older fellow, older by 10 years. Seriously, love him to death but there are times that age difference is such a problem. Going for someone too much older than yourself is problematic but sometimes you can't pick who you fall in love with.

I just happen to like older men. Ones with secure jobs, who have their life in place. Which usually means at least 10 years older. For me, that would be the ideal. (Does this make me a target for perverts? 🤣 )

However, I'm not object to dating anyone I like so long as they aren't underage, and I don't need someone who fits my ideal. The person inside matters far more.

I don't really care what age they are, as long as they care about me that's all that matters.

hmmm...i picked older though it doesn't really matter, some older people have more experience and are more knowledgeable on certain things while I think younger people are more energetic in their own ways, but really age is just a number and who you like/love at whatever age shouldn't matter.....just don't break the laws >_<

If I was interested in having a boyfriend now he would have to be one to three years younger than me. If I was older, I wouldn't mind the difference being much greater (as long as we were both adults). I'd like to be the dominant one in the relationship to a degree, and I think that would be easier with a younger guy. Plus, younger guys tend to be less pushy with sex - and really everything else - than older guys. From an extreme standpoint, they're less likely to attempt rape. I'm really not interested in any level of a sexual relationship at any time. Besides, younger guys are cuter! ^^

Thinking it over, though, I think I would really prefer having an actual boyfriend closer to my age. The idea of having a younger, more submissive boyfriend is nice, but it's more of a fantasy. I would want a husband or boyfriend that is very intellectually and mentally mature, on my level or above it. I'm not interested in any kind of innocence or naïvete. I want to be able to carry on meaningful and informed conversations that volley equally on both sides. I want the depth of person that comes from experience and from learning from it. I want to be able to be taken care of if I need it. But I just don't like the idea of dating someone older than me. It must be my anti-pedophilia conditioning, even though I'm too old for pedophiles now. ^^;

So I guess after all that... I want someone my age and asexual. That's all.

Hmm, younger I guess. It might have to do with the fact that I like to be in control. And if my partner's a few years younger, then that only makes them more delectable. 😁

For me, it doesn't matter if she's older or younger. The youngest I'll go for is 17 (Because that's the legal age where I live), and the oldest is 25.
