I think it's impossible for Naruto to go nine tails. At that point I think Naruto will be gone and the fox would've taken over.

i dont think he would die.....i think now as he is he probly would .... but in the future he would probly learn 2, just like the 8th tail an the 2 tail from the cloud village .... he should go 2 the cloud 2 learn.yea

The topic shouldn't be "wat would happen if naruto went 9 tails?" but:
"****When ****Naruto goes 9 tail what would happen?"

I'm almost 100% sure that at some point in the manga Naruto will go 9 tail...
Unfortunately Naruto will not die... and nothing to bad will happen to him!

My guess is that after the nature energy arc we will have a new arc where Naruto will learn how to control the fox.
Then when he is in hermit mode he will slowly take over the fox, at first he will only be able to release 1 tail.

At this point a new arc will start where Naruto will fight the other tailed beast's. At first he will fight the 1 tail and the 2 tails' then it will jump to the 6 tails. And then when Naruto can already use up to 5 or 6 tails we will have the huge epic battle where Gara ( who has deafited two of the tailed beasts by himself) and other people who have the beasts in them will help him fight.
Then all will die but Naruto, who will become enraged and all of the tails will be released.
As usual Naruto will win because he has the power of friendship behind him, and manga will come to an end!! And in the last chapter we will be shown that all of the ninja tribes are now one, and Naruto decided to follow in that old perverts footsteps ( forgot his name... erosenin or w/e).

it's just like other manga ending where the main character will not die and will gain an extremly powerful technique or something like that.

Seriously Naruto wouldn't die from going nine tails. The nine tails would be released if Naruto died but it wouldn't kill Naruto by comming out. Imo Naruto will eventually get strong enough to completely controll the nine tails' power and will either be able to draw upon it without growing tails at all or he'll look just like he does now with 1 to 3 tails but he'll have 9.

First I need to correct a few things. First Kyuubi wouldn't be released if Naruto dies. Remember when.. hmm.. what was his name.. Orochimarus subordinate almost killed Naruto.. Kabuto?? Well I don't remember. Been too long since I read that, but Kyuubi will disappear with Naruto though it's possible that Kyuubi would reincarnated somewhere else.

I think Naruto will "go" Kyuubi not far in the future, since he was training some secret jutsu in Myouboku(?) mountains, remember? That was most likely training to control Kyuubi's powers.

Eight tails guy whatever his name was, gave a quite a good hint that it's actually possible to control the whole essence of the tailed beast. I mean he fully transformed in to the Eight tails from and was in control unlike Gaara with the One tail (Shukaku?).

Now to the topic.. I think Naruto will save use Kyuubi's powers to defeat Akatsuki and he we will labeled as a real monster since It's kind of hard hide if manages to use Kyuubi's full power. If you think about the Eight tail, he was huge! So I think Kyuubi won't any smaller. Besides Kyuubi's real size was shown in the very first anime episode.

Meh I reckon the secret training has something more to do with his wind rasengan than controlling the Kyuubi's powers.

Whether or not Naruto will turn to the Kyuubi again for power is debatable. Yamato told Naruto to rely on his own power rather than the Kyuubi's power, and he seems to be doing just that. If the Kyuubi does appear again, it is likely not done by Naruto willingly.

The fight between Naruto and Pein would probably end with (a) Pein's death, or (b) Naruto's capture. I doubt (b) will happen though, as all the other frogs are there to help Naruto out. Naruto should win with so many people backing him up, and the fact that Pein already used so much of his power in destroying Konoha seems to have be hinting Naruto's eventual win over him.

I'm more interested in finding out what Sasuke would do if he finds out the truth about Madara lying to him. Sasuke himself has already said that he is not his brother... which begs the question, will he continue with his plan? Or seek to fight Madara?

On topic: I think Naruto will die if he goes 9 tails. He has taken quite a beating even when he went 4 tails so...

if this were to come true "sh!t will hit the fan", as they say 🤣

More seriously, i think now he could manage to release some kyuubi power, balancing it with his sage power (nature vs evil nature).

I don't get how people think he'd die when the Kyuubi is released. After all, when Gaara and the others with the tailed beasts released theirs, they didn't die.

I vote die. Not because I think he would be because I'd like him to. Then the series would finally end. If he could take out Sakura before he goes then all will be right with the world once more. I'm hoping that a least a few actual named characters have died in the last few chapters, Naruto has an annoyingly low mortality rate.

The pen is mightier than the sword...and considerably easier to write with.
