So the new characters from bleach had been revealed as humans or w/e you called them living in hell and something that need to be OPEN?
They need ichigo's power to Open it
The latest chapter revealed the name of the guy Gunjou and its the same as the fat guy in this special.

I reread both chapters and it said GInjou not Gunjou.

I'm kind confused from the hell arc.
from what I see in the movie trailer, I think hell arc's events are between the hueco mundo fight and aizen fight.

Ok here's my question. So those two espada are evil so they went to hell. Except look back to the early volume about hell. Didn't Rukia say that it's only the hollows that came from people that were evil in life that go to hell, and any evil actions as hollows don't matter because the shinigami weapon cleanses them? The espada are a combination of thousands or millions of hollows eaten by the strongest one. So unless these espada are made of entirely evil hollows, doesn't this mean that, since they still have their original strength, that thousands or millions of souls were unjustly sent to hell, trapped in the espada bodies? 😕

This is one of those situations where you shouldn't think about it too much. Anime movies are usually never canon and they usually ignore rules from the source material.

Slay hollow, hollow gets purified of sins commited after becoming a spirit, hollow becomes spirit again.

but if the hollow becomes a spirit after getting 'killed' then there is no way hoolows can excist in hell >.> they get cleansed of sins yet still end up in hell for sins commited in life then the spirit of the sinner would end up there.

and here I was thinking hell would be some horrible place where you die and come back to life in a way that the pain is intolerable...but no, its just a guy...wait, where the hell are the other espadas?

I'm just going to go out on a limb here and guess that in the case of hollows made of multiple souls, what determines whether or not you wind up in hell is the dominant soul. If so, then it begins to make sense, apart from the non-canon timeline so typical of movies based on TV shows. 😁

I was thinking since those two espadas were in 'Hell' maybe we can see all the espadas again like Starrk, Grimmjow and the rest that would be cool

I kind of laughed at it, because of all the character's I'd want to see from heuco mundo, szayel and fishbowl head where at the end of the list. I'd much rather see like Starrk, Barragan and Harribel.

Maybe they'll pop up in the movie. Not that I'll watch it.
