so this is my issue at first i could not get the video to playback properly i tried dvix, VLC,and finally i tried MPlayer and i got the video to playback 😀 but then i cant here the people talk at all 😕
the file im trying to playback is MKV from a blueray rip i assume and the audio(which i cant figure out why it wont playback properly, it worked on vlc but not on mplayer) is FLAC if anyones got any advise on how to fix this or can redirect me to a player that can work better, throw your ideas at me thanks.
btw im using a mac

It's not the player that's the issue, rather a codec. I don't know about Macs, but for Windows, the K-Lite Codec pack should enable one to play a vast amount of files.

Just search for the equivalent in Mac, I suppose.
