Only played a bit of one of the games, my own PC wouldn't be able to run it unfortunately (thankfully S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is going multi-platform). I've watched tons of gameplay and footage though, I'm in love with its dreary and ultra-bleak atmosphere!

Heard about this a few days, looks like a solid adaptation, SFX are pretty damn decent too. Wonder when it's coming out?

Going multiplat is actually a bad thing. Because they will have to dumb it down for consoles.

As long as someone can sub the episodes, I'm all up for it.

As for the game, does it really matter if it's multiplatform as long as the game is still good? Or is this the same stupid "HURR DURR PC GAMES OVER CONSOLE GAMES bullshit? You do realize that everybody could just buy a PC and then you wouldn't be as "exclusive" as you believe? 🙄

It isnt the matter of being exclusive. It is the matter of them dumbing them down. Look at System Shock 2 -> Bioshock they had to remove inventory because of consoles. they always have to dumb them down because of the limititations the controller gives.

So? Does any of that matter when you'll only be playing the PC version? It just seems to me that you're needlessly complaining about versions of the game that you won't even touch. Kinda reminds me of all the times when people complain about new features in a game despite the fact that there's an opinion to play the game without using those features.

You should stop being so pessimistic about your precious game. Not every studio screws over the PC gamers when it comes to porting to consoles. Barely anything is known about it and you're already complaining.

Better watch the Tarkovsky's Stalker too.
