Portuguese Man O'War are fascinating. When my aunt got stung by one at the beach, my cousin and I took turns peeing on her arm to counter the poison. They say this is the best way to stop the stinging. We then got in trouble because we were having too much fun helping her out. It was classic. Asking two 10yr olds to pee on you is asking for trouble.

you know, the funny thing is, I never knew blue ring octopus was poisonous until I saw it on National Geographic last year.

The only cuttlefish that I knew walked, Flamboyant cuttlefish, somewhat cute but poisonous.

Blue Ring octopus can paralyze you just by touching and you may not even see or feel it. Until you suddenly fall down and suffocate to death. That's the sad part, you are totally conscious the whole time until you die. What a naughty little bugger...
