I love romance-topic manga with an interesting female protagonist.
I've pretty much read all of the normal mainstream ones but some of my faves ARE:

-Say I Love You
-Skip Beat!
-Kaichou wa Maid-Sama
-Akatsuki no Yona
-Otome Youkai Zakuro

I'd love some suggestions please ?

If josei is okay, Nodame in Nodame Cantabile comes to mind.

Switch Girl has a really strange and goofy protagonist if you're into that kind of thing.

Horimiya is another good one.

Both play with having different public and personal personas.

Watashi ga Motete Dousu n da starts out as kind of a reverse harem series, but it does eventually follow one romance through to the end with an interesting female protagonist for the whole series.

Hopefully one of those piques your interest if you haven't read them before.
