Agreed. However i am a music fanatic and when i see yukio carrying around a muddy waters LP, i get kinda giddy. That and i'm a guitar player.

I enjoy the manga more than the anime. And about not being able to enjoy the manga as much because there is no music: Why not listen to the OST while read BECK? That's what I do. ^_^

And BECK wouldn't be the same without Sykes.Though BECK really wouldn't be the same without any of the characters. <- That sounded a bit weird,but what the heck.I hope you get what I mean.. 😛

I think the manga has the best music you shall ever read in your life in it, the anime never managed to portray that greatness. I read Beck a few times before I settle down to watching the anime and even though it was good I was bitterly let down by the music. In the manga you get the feeling that the band want to make the type of rock that changes the world when you look at the rubbish dream sequence you see some of the most talented and influential musicians of our time. The music in the anime was mostly just generic J-Rock which would never be popular outside of a small set fan base and it for shure aint gonna change the world.

That being said I LOVE LOVE LOVE this series!
