Anime: DNAngel. I hate that anime sooooo much. The manga is good, but the anime ruined it. The girls in it Risa and Riku are really annoying. Risa sees Dark once on TV and then all of the sudden she starts climbing buildings sneaking out at night because she wants to marry him or something. He could be like a rapist but she doesn't care because he looks good. The manga is alright, but after a while I just gave up. It probably ends up the same way. The art is AMAZING though.

Manga: Hmm...there are plenty I don't like. But I can't remember any right now.

I agree with Envy09. The DNAngel anime was absolutely HORRIBLE.

I'm VERY surprised that no one's mentioned Inuyasha yet, though. I think it only was interesting to me till about the ninth volume; after that, it was HORRIBLE. There's no plot, the number of characters is becoming absolutely ridiculous, and there is no ending in sight. (I'm mostly mentioning the manga here, but the anime has many of the same traits. My friends who bothered to watch the last episode said it was a REALLY bad ending.)

Hikaru no Go and Death Note both lost their original sparks as they got further into the series. I think I read up to volume eighteen of Hikaru no Go, but it just got so BORING. Death Note just got to be rather monotonous, since Raito grew less able to plan his strategies around his own actions (most of it was pretty much talking, with little or no action). I loved the first half of these manga, though.

And, while the anime itself is pretty good, the opening for Karin is just stupid. I don't see how it fits in with the series at ALL. Sure, it's amusing for its randomness and it's filled with fanservice, but it doesn't reflect the series itself.

Bleach and Naruto both disappointed me with their anime counterparts, but only because of the sheer number of filler episodes. (I mean, c'mon. Bleach had an entire FILLER ARC.)

Buso Renkin isn't that great, either... I was really expecting better, considering that it's by the same manga-ka as Rurouni Kenshin. I can't exactly pinpoint what's wrong with it, but I have to force myself to read it when I do. Same can be said for Blade of Heaven.

XDDD Please note that the characters are about 8 years old (something like that) and most definitely not in high school XD

Sorry, I just found that really funny ^_^;;

The manga isn't over yet \^o^/ It's on hiatus and I'm just hoping they'll continue it soon. The anime was soo different from the manga, it's almost like a different series completely biggrin I mean, they added characters, took out a couple, and changed things around! The manga was much better, but I think the author needed to make it clearer who was talking at what time...

I agree with those who mentioned Death Note. I mean, I don't hate it and it wasn't that bad, but it wasn't anywhere as amazing as the first half or so.

@xObscurexOmenx--->I was disappointed with Buso Renkin too. I really enjoyed Rurouni Kenshin, but Buso Renkin is just cliche after cliche of the all other shounen out there dead

I really don't like Ah! My Goddess! either the manga or anime...

For one thing the manga starts off looking like utter crap, then gradually improves over the years. While this isn't really a big deal, it just feels inconsistant. My real gripe is Bellandy. She is just... well... there. She's the most perfect, ideal, Yamato Nadeshiko who loves Keiichi unconditionally and never shows a shred of doubt or jelousy, because she JUST SO PERFECT. Yet they've been together 35 Volumes and I'm wlling to bet that they haven't even gotten past first base yet, because their love is so PURE it makes me want to bash my head through my screen.

I want to try to read the manga again, but I'm in no rush. In the manga though, does Dark accept Risa's affections at all? She ruins the series for me. The other characters are pretty cool though and again I love the art.

Personally, i've hated Mucha Kucha Daisuki since the first page dead
It was terrible!! I mean, the story is not new and all, but that's not the crime i'm talking about bigrazz
Spoiler (highlight to view)
Aoi was simply too stupid, i couldn't stand her!! Less Tsuyoshi, sometimes he had some good moment smile
And about the ending, i think the author wanted me to cry all night for Aoi's death, at the contrary i laughed without mercy and thanked God laugh

hot gimmick manga! how a girl can get bashed around so much and end up with the abusive guy I'll never know...

I really wanted to tear out my hair after reading that one...

I hear ya! and though I might sound like I'm repeating this a million times(because I have at least 3 times), but read the novel HotGimmickS. I recommend it...very much.

Tenjou Tenge and Air Gear.
I managed to complete 'bout 40 chapters,
but they just made me mad.
How can anyone ever create something
like that...?
-----
I hate when some 15 yo thinks: ''Wow, boobs, let's give 10 pts.''
Not like I was some lolicon, but spare me from all that junk in the script.

I had an argument about something similar to this. Ok, I'll admit a lot of people are only into it for the ecchi, but still. Some people just pass it off as "meh, its just a bunch of fan service" but it's not. You sound to me like you're fixated too much ON the boobs. Seriously, look past it and you might find the story interesting. Especially on Air Gear. Tenjou Tenge gets a little confusing later on but it's still interesting.

The really bad one was Tsubasa Chronicles, I don't care how high the ratings are... it bore me to tears, I felt like dying every minute of watching it. Literally forced myself to finish it and wondered why I even bothered. Chobits too, watched till episode 15 or so and I just kinda dumped it in one corner because the entire plot was just too stupidly ridiculous.

Fate/Stay Night was pretty horrible too. I actually fell asleep watching it and woke up 10 minutes later wondering what was going on. Another similar anime would be Shakugan no Shana.

I don't get it. From your reading list, it tells me that you're into romance but here you go shooting down Chobits as ridiculous and Tsubasa Chronicles and even Shakugan no Shana as boring.
First lets start with Chobits.
The story really teaches you about treating your items with care/love. Don't forget it after getting something better..kinda like in Bleach where the modsouls were discarded after being judged as defective. And also, it shows that Hideki is so in love with Chi that he would go through great measures to get/save her (and as stated by someone whom I have forgotten his name - even sacrificing the chance to get past third base) This is a basic romance romance plot...seriously.
Next is Tsubasa.
Again, sacrifice is a freakin cliche in romantic stories. He sacrifices the memories she has of him just so that he could save her life. I wouldn't say the plot moves too slowly. 1 feather is about...3 - 5 episodes? It is after all, just your opinion on the matter, but still, you might wanna say why it was boring.
Finally, Shana.
The first time I saw that comment I seriously screamed out "NANI?!!". For this, I don't see how it was even boring. The plot was good, barely any flaws that I could spot. Same with the animation. I can't say that the plot moves too slow to cause one to fall asleep while watching or that it was really that boring to make you fall asleep while watching. Again, your opinion, but you should really back them up >_<

As for me, the only anime/manga that are on my "NEVER read/watch" list are Sailor Moon and Inuyasha. My reasons? Sailor moon because I've hated it since I was a kid, and the first hentai picture I saw was of her and Goku....and that kinda scarred me for life. Inuyasha because I just hate it with a burning passion...naturally. I get pissed every time I see the guy..seriously. Even more, I recently "broke up" with a good friend of mine due to an Inuyasha argument (yeah, I know. Stupid, right?).
These are purely prejudiced opinions though. I know that for a fact, but still, I swore that I will NEVER watch/read them.

Blue Seed, manga. It is one of the few manga I read simply because of how bad it was. I simply had to see it to the end when it is that bad. I've managed to suppress all other memories of bad ones and didn't start rating manga until recently. smile

Eiken Eikenbu yori Ai wo Komete, anime, good luck looking past the breasts in this one. Ooh right, they take up the entire screen and there is nothing else worth watching. As for other anime, I have 5-6 hentai just as bad as this, but I can't really bother with them...

Yeah, you don't need to rush at all since it might take another year (or even longer) for the manga to continue cuz the author is working on another series or something.
I think Dark does. I don't remember much of the series actually...haven't watched the anime for over a year and I don't remember the majority of the manga which I read over three years ago ^_^;; But I know that in the latest book they're on a date (I only own the latest one, borrowed the others from my friend). She can be pretty annoying, but tolerable for me. The art is still amazing though! \^o^/

Chobits made cells in my brain die.

I hardly think Chobits is a romance, but that's under my criteria. Chi is so brain dead that she can only react with the word "chiii". It doesn't lead to me believe that Hideki is in love with her personality. You said it yourself that Chi is only an item. "The story really teaches you about treating your items with care/love."How can someone fall in romantic love with an object? It's a concept that's completely unbelievable to me as a plot. It's like falling in love with your vibra--- I digress.

My main qualm with Chobits however was that it was boring.

How far did you watch/read Chobits up to? She does talk later on, you know. And mecha love is like...one of the "moe"s out there as stated in N.H.K ni youkoso!, as in..it's really not that weird. Take Mahoromatic and Handmaid May for example. They are robot/cyborgs but the main character falls in love with them and if you say that the concept is unbelievable, what about those that fall in love with anime characters and have OS-tans, pillows with anime characters on them and even worse.....bedsheets. Some of these were shown in N.H.K ni youkoso! as the life of an otaku. The main reason behind this theme is that unlike real life, robots/cyborgs will do whatever you program them to do etc., so its really like an escape for those who get rejected in real life or are just bad with girls. It really isn't an unbelievable concept.

Eh, I really liked Inuyasha. It took me a while to get bored, and that's because I found a new obsession. It's one of the few shounen manga I've read that has no problem killing off long-time villains or even "good" characters for the sake of plot advancement.

I don't see the problems with Tsubasa Chronicle ever...

Most of the "bad" manga I know are ones that just made no sense after the first chapter - like Shakugan no Shana. I haven't tried watching the anime, but I read and re-read the first few chapters and it just didn't make any sense. Fate/Stay-Night was just awful... the main character dies how many times in the first volume?! >_>

Death Note, Naruto and Bleach are all good manga. They just BECAME terrible.

Actual worst anime... well, there's a few bad dubs that I don't even go near... but by far, the worst is Pokemon. Bad anime no matter the language, bad manga... it's a great game, but they shouldn't have done anything after that.

Yu-Gi-Oh: Duel Monsters is a pretty bad anime in its original version, too. Actually, all of the Yu-Gi-Oh anime is pretty bad. The manga was great, for a time, but there's only so much of "Miho-chan!" that I can stand.

Busou Renkin is boring, not crappy. Just... really boring. Same for Dragon Drive.

I also found Aishiteruze Baby to be incredibly creepy. So I guess I'll add that to "worst manga", because there's something wrong about the way that relationship between the teenage boy and his five-year-old cousin is portrayed and then marketed to young girls. o_o

Oh! Desire Climax! Royal Seventeen! Haou Airen! Love Celeb! Any of those "innocent girl meets sexy playboy and gets seduced" manga. They've got no plot, are incredibly unrealistic, and make me cry myself to sleep when I wonder why other girls find this romantic at all.

(Personally, I would have been very freaked out if she'd ended up with her brother in Hot Gimmick, but whatever. I thought it was a nice ending, if none of the characters were at all likeable.)

If you want to kill your brain cells, go watch Sister Princess. If you don't, take my advice and stay as far away from it as possible.

I understand your reasonings, but as I said, under my criteria I do not view love towards something you see as an object as a romantic plot that I can stomach... neither does humping your sheets for that matter, but then people do that anyways right? But simply because they hump their Chi sheets nightly does not mean I'll be on the next bandwagon and in the stores buying a Chi pillow as well... unless said pillow was a really really nice orthopedic one.
