i gotta admit i think akumetsu will sort of re-hash the love hina of now matter how much negi influences all the girls, itll come down to the female lead

Seriously though, it's hard to say.. I have a soft spot for Yue, but I dunno if there'd really be much sizzle.. AsunaxNegi or ChisamexNegi would probably be the most entertaining pairings at the end of the day just because of the whole tsundere factor.

Spoilers for chapter 165 and 167

I was spoiled beforehand before I read this chapter, but I heard that Nodoka uses the book to figure out her wish and it turns out her desired solution was a 3some with her, yue, and negi. As cool as a solution as that is, I'm pretty sure that'd knock her out as a serious rival.

However reading the actual chapter it doesn't seem that way, and furthermore, further down 165, Negi is asked who he likes. He immediately dimisses everyone (including Asuna and Evangeline), but blushes when he remembers Nodoka's confession. Which gives me hope for NodokaxNegi.

But then again, 2 chapters later in 167 he asks Asuna to come with him to be his partner and being a mages partner has romantic undertones. Of course, Asuna's the only realisitic choice for a partner anyways so that could also be why.

I'm thinking Ken's just trying to confuse everyone :(

It HAS to be Nodoka.. she's so cute.. and shy... it makes ME blush... I want a girlfriend like that 😃
