Hi, was just wondering what tag would be suitable for stories where everyone can hear the thoughts of MC or any other character in the story. Like their thoughts are basically on loudspeaker. For example in the Satorare series and Saikyou Yakuza no Kokoro no Naka wa Igai to Yasashii.

Mental Communication? The telepathy strong Newtypes have with each other in Gundam and a bunch of X-men have that going on.

Edit: Mental projection? Also descriptive.

Thanks for the suggestion. I guess that would be the best tag for the opposite of telepathy but for these stories, the characters aren't intentionally broadcasting their thoughts and usually aren't aware that their thoughts can be heard by those around them. Maybe it needs a new tag? But not sure what would be best to describe this.

Sounds like mind reading to me

How about "radio-telepathy" - where you hear the voices of everyone around you - assuming the MC cannot broadcast their own voice and can only listen to the thoughts of people around him/her.

I guess this is the closest one to describing it though the mind-reading isn't intentional.

@ateliersensei
Thank you but in the stories I mentioned, the situation is the oppositie of what you described. Everyone, up to a certain distance around the character, can hear the character's thoughts and the character usually aren't aware that everyone can hear their thoughts.

What about just accidental telepathy, or unintentional telepathy?
There are already "Accidental X" tags such as "Accidental confession" or "Accidental Death"

Merriam webster defines telepathy as "communication from one mind to another by extrasensory means"
https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/telepathy

The way I'm interpreting it is the character is communicating telepathy to people nearby, regardless of if they are aware that they are doing it (hence why I thought appending accidental/unintentional might work)

For example just because someone doesn't realize they're invisible doesn't mean they aren't invisible

(I hope that makes sense? I might be starting to confuse myself here)
