According to this and other sites, it says that this has been Licensed by Viz media. But when I go to the Viz media website I can not find any information when I search for "Bokura ga Ita" or "We Were There." Anyone know if it is under some other name?

Could not locate it at the local book stores either though not knowing the name made it more difficult.

If you actually read the series information page, you'd see that it's titled "We Were There". First US volume release in early November, so wait until then

There are a variety of places you can find that besides the website.

For instance, amazon has it available for preorder under the name "We Were There" here. It also lists November 4th as the release date.

edit. see on book depository second one comes out in january, so one every few months, man wish it was faster.

It's only a 2-3 month wait. That's pretty fast for manga volumes in the US...

Eh but it is still going to be nearly a year until it gets to volume 4, where the sub/scan stopped. Guess I can always try to dig up the anime, then read the new groups sub/scan.

how come on the status thingy of the manga it says "hiatus" 😕 did they really "pause" the manga?? noo please don't say it's true!! and i read the spoiler icecold leaft....and seriously is it true 😕 ? am so sad now!!! this can't end this way!!! 😢

According to BetsuComi official page for Bokura ga Ita, the manga (in Japan) is on hiatus due to various reasons. I read somewhere that the mangaka is ill, but I'm not too sure.

have you even read the last chapter of volume 8 and compared it to the anime?

bokura ga ita's anime takes place from volume 1 to the last few pages of vol 8, thats why vol 3-7 were not scanlated, get the anime, its totally worth it.

Imagine if the mangaka dies at such a cliffhanger...

It be Itazura na Kiss all over again.
