Polite bump.

Haha, I don't think anything romantic has really happened to me yet, and I don't want anything specifically. I can already appreciate the little things, so~ And what's most important is that you feel comfortable around the person you love! D: And I do! o-o :'3

Hmm... Most romantic way to propose... Carrying out a simple wish of your partner (like maybe s/he always wanted to follow drawing lessons or something! o_o but somehow s/he couldn't because of some problems, but you removed those problems!), and during that act propose!

Maybe? xD

The most romantic thing I've done
for a female would have to be...
When I held the door open for her.

Romance is for suckas! ! ! >:-(

The best one I heard of was a Disney World story. Some guy (with lots of money to spend on this) was able to buy his girlfriend a night as a princess in the Cinderella castle, with the majority of known Disney characters there to witness. (It costs a bundle to rent each character for the night, much less all of them, the castle, the coach, etc.)

They were staying in one of the DW hotels in Orlando, and about to go out to dinner when he made some excuse about going back into the hotel room for something, so she waited out front. While she was waiting, an employee driving the Cinderella coach pulled up and offered her a quick ride around in it. She took him up on it, and he took off light lightning for the castle. Once there, she was escorted inside to dinner, and he proposed in front of all of the characters.

Mine was much less romantic, but I wasn't in the mood to care at the time, and that's all I'm saying. =)

Not necessarily typical romance, but kind of sweet: one of my exbfs gave me a hose-clamp as a ring. He worked with his father as a mechanic.

I'm sure there's more, that was just the first one that came to mind.

No idea what would be the best way for someone to propose to me, as long as it's not over-done, I'd be happy with however he wanted to do it.

nothing really, but ive had relationships
they were in highschool tho, and they seemed too dramatic
ive changed so much since highschool and i wouldn't be suprized if i picked up a girlfriend anytime.
i think it would be the way i propose to someone, i would like that to go very smooth and romatic and charismatic of course, ye know?

BUUUUMPPP

I've had a guy confess to me that he thought I was beautiful. And he played it like a hit & run: say it to some random chick(but he meant it, mind you), then leave and hope to never see her again. Oh ho ho hoo how he got that wrong.
We've been dating for a couple months now~

Proposing, I think takes creativity. I've seen a guy do it through a video game(super mario bros). Just a nice dinner and candles seems too generic.

Never had anything romantic happen to me.
Perhaps I'm just odd, but I don't want to get married. Ever. No piece of paper should dictate whether your love for someone is true (And, 50% of marriages end in divorce).
But, I've envisioned the perfect "proposal" of someone who wanted to honestly spend the rest of his life with me.
A man would present to me a jar of honey instead of a ring, and he would say: "Gemstones last forever, but what use are they? This jar of honey will stay sweet for you as long as the sky and earth exist."

Though, I hate honey. 🙂 But it's far more suitable for me than a stupid ring.
What I consider romantic is spontaneous and unique expressions of affection. I don't want to conform to what society deems to be romantic.

But, seeing as that's unlikely, I'll probably never end up with a spouse-like individual 😉 C'est la vie!

My best guy friend came over to my house and tied a necklace around my neck. We were the only ones outside. He gave me a gift and I later read a note inside that said he liked me.

Lol, one of the longest thread titles I've seen. xD

Yes! A ring pop! OMG that would be the best thing because if i got a diamond ring or whatever i would lose it. if i had a ring pop it would taste good and i could get a replacement anytime i wanted!

The most romantic thing that's ever happened to me is...erm...well, i wish that a guy would bake sweets with me and then eat them at a picnic 🙂

What the most romantic thing that ever happened to you or that you want to happen??

sadly, nothng that memorably romantic ever has happened to me...i think i would get goosebumps...if somethng gooey happnd...but I do like the odd romcom men deeds...Mr. Big for Carrie kind of thing in SATC...sorry, just watchd the two movies a few days ago, stil stuck in that..

And wat the most romantic way to propose to someone!!?? I like hearing stories abt men being creative abt proposing....maybe a way which reflects tht you know how she is like (i assume women want men to do the proposing and for men, if they havent proposed as yet means they just arent ready..)

For me the most romantic thing ever was the time me and my sweetie went outside on the terrace when it was raining and danced to the song Diamond Crevasse from May'n and kissed each other while we were dancing. It might sound cheesie or stupid but that for me is special.

Nothing that romantic ever happened to me and neither do I know of the most romantic way to propose to someone (I'm not that much of a romantic person) - but it'd have to be at sunset, just because I like a colourful sky.

getting a self-made poem as birthday present by my bf last year. he read it out loud and then he turned bright red. he was so cute. i wished i could have taken a photo of it. i felt like when i see small cute children, but a hundred times stronger. i even cuddled him because he was so cute

but every minute together with him makes my heart go "doki-doki" so i think going out with him may be the most romatnic thing that ever happend and will ever happen 😃 😃 😃 😃 😃 😃 😃

Well I've only experienced a failed attempt. This guy forced me to waltz with him without any music then proceeded to get on one knee and kiss my hand. Instead of being impressed I felt the opposite. There are certain things that work only in movies and not in real life.
