I've been tinkering with the idea of releasing a high quality 2020 remaster of Hokuto no Ken, since the classic edition is outdated and I want to release a high quality, revised translation and a more modern approach to this excellent manga.

There will be significant changes to this remaster, we will use in-house scan, a better translation based on a verified source, revised and modernized dialogue (The holocaust will happen now in 21XX and there will be references of real technology that wasn't available then.) Basically, we won't have extreme technology by 2100, it will all look like it looks today. To retrieve that "grim future" that clashes with traditional martial arts.

My role on this is to write the text, scan sources and to coordinate the members, this project is not paid and I want to release the 18 volumes in a particular pace of one volume a month, maybe less depending on the members available.

So, if you are interested, please PM me and once I get a group of people comfortable enough not to get burned out by the work, then I will go ahead and get into it.

I want to have the ultimate quality on this manga, it deserves it. thanks so much.
