[m] this might be a super long shot but I’m looking for a shoujo manga. It was pretty short, either a oneshot or a few chapters, published probably in the mid to late 2000s. The female lead is sweet and beautiful and on her first day of her senior high year of high school she meets a mysterious “boy” on the rooftop who teases her. Shenanigans and misunderstandings ensue and at the end it’s revealed he’s a teacher at the school, but he fell in love with her when she started in the attached junior high and he was in high school, so he’s been in love for a few years while she never knew dudes existed in general lol any help would be much appreciated! In the meantime I’ll continue to go through the lists I have based on genre searches. Thank you very much!

You should be able to find the oneshot under that title, or as part of the anthology it was published in.

I think this might have been the story. I say think because I remember the art being different and the hero having lighter hair, so either this trope is popular or I'm mixing things up. Either way, thank you so much and apologies for being a year late!
