Been reading the manga and watching the anime, and I need some clarification.

1. There are other Kekkaishi in the world right? Then why is this place so special? Why wouldn't they have more Kekkaishi there.

2. Powers: Are there other powers besides Kekkai, like the guy from the Shadow Organization with the Moon Blade attack or are they just a form of Kekkai.

I am so confused.

hehehe, well if u are starting u should just wait a lil more all answers will come. There are more "types" of kekkaishies out there... as that comes from the word kekkai which means barrier or something. U will get sick about the many useless people they will call kekkaishi later on.

2 well the powers... there are people in that shadow organization with unique powers each spiritual or demonic depending on tha person.

Edit. And being shounen u will see the Main chars lvling up sometimes. even if all they do is barriers.

agree.. reading this thread will just spoil u.

answer 1: there are space manipulating jutsu users out there but the way they use power are different then the kekkaishi of these two family. (remember, the two family follow the hazama tokimori style of kekkai jutsu)
if u still dunno why the 'school' is special then you better read more (i assume you are refering to the school)
answer 2: every power that people from urakai have are different... they're not a type of kekkai (except for the big bro)

kekkai basically mean barrier (that thing that yoshi and tokine create)

the jutsu that prolly the same, no matter who the user, is the shikigami. even so, every clan has different style to it... i like the okuni's.
