Do you ask for directions?

If going somewhere new I check maps, and if possible take them with me...and if I by any chance get lost, I follow my hunch...asking for directions is a no-no...it is admitting defeat to surroundings and a serious blow to my manliness. >:-(

I always ask for directions, even when I partially know where I am just to be sure. It's faster that way so why not ask?
I really don't understand those who even though they are lost or don't know where they are supposed to go just doesn't ask for help, is it such a failure to find what you are looking for faster? 😕
I do have to ask coz I have an extremely bad sense of direction...I usually like asking for directions being shy and all, it gets me to talk to ppl..what a sad life I have 😢
Only when I'm lost. This city uses numbers instead of names for the streets so it's easy to figure out where you are.

I need a die with 2 sides.
That's known as a "coin".
Oh, thanks. Too much D&D.

I feel lost every single moment of the day.
Asking for directions in my case would just prove futile.

i get lost a lot....so i ask for directions all the time, but i can never remember anything past the first step. so i get lost again.
This always happens to me when I go to a hospital or just new office building. I ask for the directions to a certain room, but always forget what to do after taking a right or a left which later results in me wasting 10 minutes looking for a damn room instead of asking for clearer directions.

The only time I can recall asking for directions was this time there was a really bad traffic jam on the interstate, so I went to convenience store to ask for a different way to go. I ended up getting home 20 minutes earlier than I anticipated. 🤣
But other than that, I have a pretty good sense of direction. I've developed a natural tendency to memorize landmarks and street names and I rarely get lost. Not counting the many times I've gotten lost in department stores. 😐

i only to when i have a time limit to match and dont want to be late
other than that i dont because its kinda fun and feels like an adventure if you,re lost somewhere you dont know your way around
i,ve even done that on purpose a couple of time, went somewhere i,ve never been before, without memorizing a way back, thats pretty fun actually 😃

So true.
I'm scared shitless to asked for direction when I get lost downtown Cleveland, so I just try to find my way out.
But I do, once in a while, if I really need to.
I have never asked for directions in my life, I know where im going so I dont get lost, and if anything I have GPS on my phone. 😃

Nope, because I have this handy-dandy little thing called a GPS. Though, I will admit... it has lead me astray a few times... Like telling me to drive over this creak that no longer had a bridge... or turn right straight into a corn field..
And when that happens... I just use the "force." 🤣
If it weren't for the gutter, my mind would be homeless.
