Although ima nintendo fanboyyy....I'll have to pass on this one! I like the DS lite. It's sexy enough for me.
I heard the internet program for DS sucked though....? I don't really need a camera. Actually what if I DO?! I might see a ufo....oh that's right, that's what my cellphone is for.
It sounds cool, I'll probably buy one years later when the price goes down.

Only when my DS lite breaks down, but the NDSi is on the list of possible gettable items.

Only NDSi software is region locked, DS games will still work just fine.

Hmm, if the DSi can play whatever region games...Then I'll just choose whichever is cheapest. I'm aiming on getting a DSLite in a few days, anyhow.

nope. I just got Golden Sun and once I'm done with that I will hunt for the sequel. Also, some peripherals need the GBA slot. I will purchase a DSlite in the near future though. However, my no isn't 100% Assuming my original DS is still working in a few years and the price is right....

i have yet to buy a ds and just when i was about to nintendo tells me that a better version is coming out. GOOD JOB NINTENDO now i have to wait atleast another year till it comes out boo now i cant play rondo of swords

I am probably going to get it several months after its release when the price goes down. Since I already have a DS Lite, and it is still in perfectly good working condition. And also since I still only have like 9 games for it, buying a new one seems kinda pointless, that collection might expand eventually though. It also depends on if I have the money to buy one, by the time of the release (or several months afterwards) I should be able to pay for it. I might actually consider getting it for my girlfriend for Christmas next year, if we are still together by then, so that way we could play some DS games together, and of course I would take it all the time and play it myself whenever I feel like it. And since I have a DS already, not having a GBA slot will be fine since I could just use that one to play the games if I feel the need.
