I don't like it either, but then, I also prefer manga genres that others can't stand! I happen to really dislike shoujo because women and teenage girls are drawn to look like preschoolers/midgets, and the storylines are always the same, and most female characters are kind of weak and submissive. I don't like shota or lolicon because I find sexual relationships with kiddies objectionable and once again, don't like baby-looking characters.

Simply put, don't read it if you don't like it.

I'm not a shotacon fan, but for lolicon, there are a few series I read here and there with man/girl relationships, like Miman Renai, that I thoroughly enjoy. :] Although, Miman is probably not exactly lolicon...

Yeah, I find lolicon/shotacon very disturbing. But if the people who read it don't go beyond that I guess they have the right to do what they want. No harm, no foul.
