In the beginning I was rooting for Sakura but at this point in time, I've just grown to dislike Sakura. I voted for Hinata because she seems like she would give Naruto a good ending.

I don't know about the Sasuke option, I'm pretty sure Sasuke is there as the rival and for some reason I can see him dying soon. Dying a corny and over dramatic death.

I would like to think that there would be a new girl character intruduced and naruto will end up with her because for me Nauto sakura and naruto hinata are dead end.

Despite what you say...if you havent noticed, Naruto already has had romance in it from the very beginning and it continues to play a rrole in the manga. That's what drives Sakura, her confession and "fake" confession, Hinata's confession, Jiraya's feelings, Tsunade's feelings, Shikamaru's sensei's feelings....like it or not Naruto has had quite abit of romance...and this fact wont change even if Naruto doesnt end up with anyone...likewise, it wont change how he was in love with Sakura at the very beginning of the manga(whether he still loves her is another matter though).

So, my point is, its not our wishful thinking because Naruto already has plenty of romance, much more than Bleach and One Piece combined together.

It's more subtext than anything, it maybe stated that so and so wants to so and so with so and so, but It's not a big deal.

Look at Hinata during the battle vs Pain! She confesses after getting beat down, but after that nothing is mentioned. I am willing to bet the majority of the romances won't be realized, atleast not fully.

Exactly. There is romance in the manga but it isn't significant enough to cause any direct impact to the story. I find Naruto more focused on his friendship and bond with Sasuke rather than being in love with Sakura or Hinata. I find the probability of Naruto finally becoming a Hokage with Sasuke still being alive more reasonable as an ending than having the end with Naruto being in love with someone. Because the beginning didn't start out as a romance manga, it is hard to believe that Naruto will be end up with being in love with someone in the end. In fact I find it the plot more confusing if the story ends with Naruto being in love with someone, since the whole plot has been about Naruto and Sasuke from the start to now.
