Chapter 35 through the end of Yugami-kun ni wa Tomodachi ga Inai are translated by GlassChair; Träumerei Scans only did the typesetting. I requested to edit release info and credit GlassChair accordingly.

Is there any reason why my change request is not approved?

Credit pages don't reflect that. MangaDex doesn't reflect that

The translator of the manga is indeed cyand of GlassChair. He posted his translations on 4chan, which were then typeset by Träumerei Scans. He is credited as /a/nonymous on credit pages.
He frequently commented in the Mangadex comment sections to correct mistakes, offer clarification, announce when the next chapter drops, and translate some related doujin. He is acknowledged as the translator by Unrequited, the leader of Träumerei, and many others.

As I understand it, all the releases are released under the banner of "Träumerei Scans", so they get the credit for the release. Also, if the guy posts his translations on imageboards, then he doesn't want to be creditted as anything more than just another Anon, in which case (If he didn't have his scans released under the banner of TS) the credit would go to /a/nonymous.

If the guy wants individual credit and acknowledgement for his participation, then why doesn't HE say anything?

He really didn't expect his translations would be typeset (as he said in one Mangadex comment), and he also half-jokingly remarked that he missed out on people's thanks. The manga wouldn't be fully translated in such a short time without him (and Träumerei's excellent typesetting work), so I want him to have some acknowledgment on MU at least. He didn't push for it seeing the manga is over, but when I told him I made a change request to have his group credited, he is OK with the idea.

I mean, the guy already has an established, active group in database. He has other releases under his name too, so he's not an actual anonymous translator.

I'm not making any changes unless the release on MangaDex credits him
