I juz done reading the entire series of Dragon Quest Dai no Daiboken thanks to the effort of Square Ocean.

Kudos to Team Square Ocean for their hard work~

However, I do have a question.

I remember reading an alternative ending of Dragon Quest Dai no Daiboken, where the hero Dai was last seen being carried away by some grandmother dragon, which differs greatly from the one being worked on.

Kindly shed some lights in this issue?

you could be thinking about:

the first battle between dai's team and vearn, which took place in volume 14. that battle ended with dai being taken away by the mother dragon.
