Audiobook releases of light novels (some are technically regular novels) have become a major trend that only keeps escalating but the market isn´t so oversaturated that we can´t catch up and keep going. Some novel-related databases list audiobooks as an option with info on who read them or if these are full-cast recordings but we don´t need to be that granular. Baccano! (Novel) for example, got an audiobook last month and Vol 2 drops in August: https://yenpress.com/series/baccano-audio

This is my quick and easy solution on how this could be done. The tag "Adapted to Audio Drama" should be changed to "Adapted to Japanese Audio Drama" as these are their own thing and tags like Adapted to English Audiobook or Adapted to French Audiobook (if such markets exist) should be invented.

The actual info about English language audiobooks, this site is ultimately for English releases only, then goes into the English Publisher publisher box. These are licensed releases after all! I wouldn´t even be surprised if a few LNs debut as audiobooks like in the case of Star Wars. Such releases would then of course also count as the work being licensed but back on track. Baccano!´s entry could look like this:

English Publisher:
Yen On (22 Vols - Ongoing)
Yen Press (1 Vol - Ongoing; Audiobook)

Let´s discuss this dear community and more importantly admins. The market is getting such a response that official dub VAs now do these. It´s not going anywhere and there are tons of people who are interested in knowing if such options exist. I for example convert PDFs to audio if no audiobook exists due to being dyslexic so that I have an easier time reading. Nyaa updates a mega torrent regularly for audiobooks to create a one-stop shop pirate library. Multiple LNs and animanga reddits are keeping lists. The publishers frankly started all this a decade too late but are quick to catch up. Vampire Hunter D will drop Vol 15 of a full-cast audiobook with music in a few months so it´s not just the new hot leases getting these: https://www.graphicaudiointernational.net/vampire-hunter-d-volume-1.html

People are clearly listening and don´t be surprised if regular manga get these in the near future. These have been done with US comics a bunch. All 100+ issues of The Boys got that treatment with a full cast and Sandman is going through one rn with Hollywood VAs. DC and Marvel (Civil War) event books get them, etc.

Getting MU more or less up to date is a matter of days and a good reddit thread if we figure out how to approach this. Think how easy all this would become if you only needed to go to MU, click on a tag and voila. Hopefully all LNs with audiobooks are listed and you only need to open the entries to see how many releases there are. If you build it, [they] will come.
